From Narbacular Drop to portal

The original inspiration for the wildy popular game Portal ( http://orange.half-life2.com/portal.html ) was a small indy game called Narbacular Drop. Narbacular Drop was the senior project of some students attending DigiPen. Valve hired most of the developers, and the world got Portal.

I have not seen much about Portal. I'm assuming it is a FPS, and it looks like it is similar to the Half Life series.
No, its actually a puzzle game. Kinda like a puzzle/platformer. Very good, but too short.
